Thea’s curiosity in science began during her studies at university, specifically within her dissertation on the potential use of stem cells for the treatment of osteoarthritis. This led her to entering the world of pharmaceuticals and where she is today.
Thea has had 3+ years previous experience at a MR agency where she qualified as a marker researcher. Here, she worked on 40+ projects of varying style and size – developing both quantitative and qualitative MR skills and becoming an effective project manager. Thea specialised in autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases, with a focus on rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and CV risk associated to T2D – covering a wide range of clients and treatments. Thea brings drive, enthusiasm and ideas to the table.
Thea believes being kind to everyone is crucial in any aspect of her work. She believes everyone is on their own journey and development, which should be respected. Working in this way has meant Thea has developed her people management skills in managerial roles, by working to help junior members of her team progress.
